Hi! My name is Gabriel Gil, and I am 19 years old. I am currently studying music at KSU. I have been playing guitar since I was 7 years old, and I have a great love and passion for this instrument. I am from Dallas, Georgia, and have lived here my whole life.
I started playing with a heavy metal background as a kid, then around the age of 9 or 10, I began exploring other music genres like blues, jazz, bluegrass, R&B, and gypsy jazz. I am extremely well-versed in a variety of styles. I also love teaching people different styles of music and I just love teaching overall.
I currently gig in the Atlanta area, performing shows with my jazz trio group, so I have a lot of live playing experience. My goal is to make my students the most well-rounded and well-versed musicians they can be.
