Piano Coach

I placed my trust in Jesus when I was 12 years old and that has changed my life ever since. I
grew up in a Christian home to parents and brothers that love me to this present day. My parents met at a Christian camp doing orchestra together so music was always in our household. When I was young, I had a developmental delay which is curable but my brain needed a “jumpstart” to understand basic knowledge that is necessity for life. Since my brothers were already taking piano lessons, my parents put me in lessons when I was seven years old. Within a month, my grades skyrocketed from having C’s and D’s to B’s and A’s. From there the rest is history and I wanted to play piano ever since. When I gave my heart to the Lord at 12 years old, the Lord gave me a new direction for the future. I was helping in the church orchestra now and then but after giving my heart to Jesus I wanted to be involved in worship ministry. The worship leader at my church gave me opportunities to serve and to develop skills as a pianist/keyboardist and vocals. At age 15, the Lord gave me a call to worship ministry and I have been following that call ever since.

Fast forward to college, I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Piano Performance from Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY and now pursuing a Master of Divinity with a
concentration in Worship Leadership at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort
Worth, TX. I have been able to lead worship and help others develop their skills as musicians for many years and I enjoy ever part of it. As a pianist and keyboardist, I love helping students
understand how both instruments work in worship. From playing Chopin on piano to playing
auxiliary keys on “Battle Belongs” by Phil Wickham, I love what I do.
