Piano, Voice & Ukulele Coach

I was born and raised in a small town in Indiana, and moved to Georgia about 10 years ago. I have loved music for as long as I can remember. The first time I ever sang in public was at church with my mom. Not long after that, I started taking piano lessons with my great grandma who grew my love for music even more. In 7th grade, I started leading worship for my school’s chapel services, and did that every year through my senior year of high school. I started playing the keys and leading worship at different youth groups when I was 16 years old and I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life.

After high school, I went to Southeastern University where I studied Music Business. My love for music and ministry grew even more during my time in college. I began to write worship music during my sophomore year of college and was given the opportunity to release my first single in 2017 called, “Surrender.”

I spent my last semester of college at The Contemporary Music Center in Nashville, TN. While I was in Nashville, I learned that there are so many different components to music than just singing and playing instruments. At the CMC, I was able to learn hands-on everything in the music, production, and business side of the music industry. That semester involved writing, recording, and producing songs weekly. It also included load ins and load outs for artists in the city, as well as putting shows together every week for the community. At the end of the semester, we went on a week-long tour that was student lead.

I graduated from Southeastern University in April 2019 and since then I have been blessed to lead worship in different churches all around the country. I released another single called “Victory”, and have also been blessed to work on different festivals and shows as an assistant tour manager.

I have learned so much through music, and have been blessed so much from it. I want to help my students grow in their instrument, meet their goals, and also help them develop a love and passion for music like I have been able to. I’m so thankful and so excited to be a part of what God is doing here at Rooted Music Coaching.
