Dean diversified his skills as a musician, working as a music publicist, band director, stage manager, TV producer, radio program director. In 2015, Dean completed a course in Music Publishing 101, at Berklee College of Music. His passion for music and production led him to over 20 years of working with some amazing musicians and indie artists, including Kirk Franklin, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, Donnie McClurkin, Gabe Jones, Mary Mary, Cece Winans, Papa San, Junior Tucker, and a host of other Caribbean artists. He now focuses on music publishing consulting and music coaching.
From 1996 to 2000 Dean toured across the Caribbean and the United Kingdom with Lester Lewis, a “Reggae Gospel” singer, as his Bass player. In 2016, he launched Dean Reynolds Media Group LLC., scaling his skills to focus on protecting the rights of composers and songwriters. His very first publishing client, A’leithia Sweeting, writer of the “HIT” single, Let Praises Rise (From the Inside) recorded live by Oral Roberts University was able to secure her music publishing and music licensing deals. Dean Reynolds Media managed a portfolio of various talents and distributed music throughout North America and the Caribbean. Dean is also certified by YouTubeMusic.
In 2020 and 2021 Dean coached a music publishing master class from which gospel singers were able to release new singles! One of which entered the Billboard Charts! Raise A Hallelujah’s Reggae cover sung by Denise Nicole.
Dean moved to Atlanta from New York in 2017, where he served as a Bass Player at World Harvest Church, Roswell, until December 2018. In 2019, Dean became the full-time Bass Player at Restoration Church, where he currently serves as the Interim Music Director.
When Dean is not working on client projects or coaching his students, he enjoys spending time with his super beautiful wife Alafea, and his kids.
