Growing up, I was always involved in music. I started piano lessons at 7 years old and took lessons for 10 years. I didn’t love it at first and wanted to quit several times, but my parents made me stick it out and I am so glad that they did! I learned how to play guitar in high school and started leading worship for the student ministry at my church. I played in a punk rock band with my twin brother and friends as well. I had a ton of fun with music and loved serving in the local church!

In 2013 after graduating college, I felt called to worship leading and decided to study music and worship at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. After graduating with my masters’ degree in 2017, I joined the staff of a church in Houston, TX, and it was there I started teaching music to students. I really learned to love teaching music and discovered a passion I didn’t know that I had!

My wife and I moved to Atlanta in 2020 and I got connected with Chris and the team at the original location of Rooted Music Coaching. I started as an online tutorial creator and coach, and within a few months, I was teaching almost 40 students a week!

My wife and I decided to move back to Fort Worth in 2022 when we found out we were expecting our first child and the idea of launching a location of Rooted Music Coaching in Fort Worth was born. Fast forward a few months later and we are offering the same quality of coaching and mentorship in Fort Worth that we do at our other locations across the country!

I have been fortunate to lead worship and play music all over the country. My education and experiences have shaped me into the musician and coach that I am today. I coach students on piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass guitar and ukulele and have so much fun doing it!

I have an amazing wife and daughter! I love all things sports (especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Stars)! I also enjoy great BBQ and I am a big Star Wars fan too.

I am so excited to help coach and develop musicians and worship leaders here in Fort Worth! This is going to be such a fun journey and I can’t wait to meet you!
