Bass Guitar/Acoustic Guitar & Piano Coach

My music journey started when I got my first bass for Christmas when I was 10. My older brother played guitar so I wanted to play something similar but not guitar. I was self-taught in the beginning and played music growing up in my church and local churches. Then I started playing in the North Point circle in 2013 at Buckhead Transit. I attended AIMM out of high school in 2014 for their one-year bass program. Graduated in 2015 from there with a certificate in bass. I learned most of what I know in playing and theory there. It was a great experience since it pushed me to practice and learn stuff outside my comfort zone, as well as be able to ask questions to all the amazing teachers there. That was the first time I took professional lessons in my playing career, and learned the importance of having a teacher/coach to help show new techniques, and songs, and answer any questions I might have. I really grew as a musician in that year. I currently play in a wedding band (A-Town A-List) and play at Woodstock City Church most weeks in different environments. I’ve been doing music full-time since 2016 and am blessed to have that as my job. I love to teach and coach the younger generation or anyone wanting to learn music since it has played a huge part in my life.
