Most well-known for writing the powerful worship anthem “Power of the Cross”, which has been recorded by Natalie Grant, Steve Green and is being used in churches worldwide, Shelly has spent the last decade serving the Church by writing songs and traveling the country leading worship for events of all kinds, sharing her heart and ministry. Shelly has released seven studio albums, thirteen singles, and written hundreds of songs, many of which have been published by LifeWay, Brentwood Benson, Word, and Prism Music, and has toured North America with renowned Irish hymn-writers Keith & Kristyn Getty. Shelly has served on staff as a worship leader at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN (from 2005-2011), First Baptist Church Woodstock GA (from 2012-2015), Woodstock City Church, a campus of North Point Ministries (from 2016-2021), Executive Worship Pastor at Restoration Church in Alpharetta, GA (2022-2023), and currently serves at Interim Worship Pastor at Thrive Chapel in Woodstock, GA. In October 2017, Shelly released a stunning Christmas album, Christmas Is Beautiful, and she and her band partner with churches around the country to present the Christmas Is Beautiful Tour each Christmas season. In May 2022, Shelly released a long-awaited brand new worship album called Great Awakening.
