I started playing drums when I was eleven years old because, out of all the instruments, I thought drums was the coolest. For the first three years I taught myself the drums by watching videos on YouTube.

In 2016 I started taking drum lessons at Rooted Music Coaching with Paul Whittinghill. That’s when I knew how important drum lessons were. Paul taught me all the foundations and vocabulary that I was lacking in my drumming. Now I am taught by Jeff Wilkins who was Paul’s teacher.

Watching my students grow in their drumming is one of my greatest joys, and seeing their progress is an honor to me. Being able to see how quickly people can learn drums and see their confidence grow is a privilege. It is a pleasure to be a part of their drumming journey.
