Guitar Coach

I grew up on St. Simons Island Georgia and began playing guitar at age 9. Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an obsession with music.
When I was 22 I joined the Air Force Band and started my first world tour where I toured to 13 different countries and played amphitheaters and venues for thousands of people. During that time I was able to learn from experienced musicians and really understand what it meant to be a professional musician. I developed my music theory knowledge, learned to play many different genres (Jazz, Country, Big Band Swing, R&B, Pop), and learned how to read and write music.
After leaving the Air Force I went on to study at Berklee College of Music, tour and play with various artists, play guitar for North Point partner churches, record guitar for artists from around the world, and develop and teach beginner to intermediate guitar players.
Currently, I produce records for pop artists, play guitar at Alpharetta First Baptist Church, and teach guitar.
I’m excited to share my knowledge and help students learn the guitar. Because of my unique experience of being mostly self taught for the first 10 years of my guitar journey and then being put into situations where I had to play as a professional; I believe I have the right tools and understanding to guide students on any musical path. Whether the goal is to play as a professional, attend a music college, learn your favorite songs, or just learn how to play some chords and jam with your friends. I’m here to help and cater to the student’s needs.
